Have you heard yet?
In the middle of busy summer schedules, swim lessons, kids running around, and trying to illustrate a book…I decided to hop on the #smalloverprime movement. Have you heard about it?
#SmallOverPrime is a movement of Catholic small businesses that have decided to offer sweet surprises for our customers on the days that Amazon offers Prime Days. I rarely put everything in my shop on sale all at once, but I decided to offer 17% off of EVERYTHING - including original paintings! And, I also wanted to appreciate YOU in an extra special way, so guess what…there’s more! I will include a special gift with your order if you make a small note (or message me) “smalloverprime.” This is for my email community only ;)
Here is the link to my shop where you can shop beautiful, high quality, Catholic art & gifts.
I thought I’d share some of my favorite art pieces to get your mind going with the possibilities. This would be a perfect time to shop for weddings, birthdays, and baby showers! Or add that perfect piece to your home that you’ve been eyeing for some time now.
As I mentioned above, this summer has been really chaotic. There have been many moments where I have been so grateful and proud of my kids for giving me the space to work on the book illustrations. But also, the amount of messes and noise is incredibly difficult - made more so by Joseph who is army crawling his way up and down the house. We are vacuuming and baby proofing (ie. picking up small pieces of everything) multiple times a day.
Work was a lot easier during the school year when I’m not trying to find the balance between work and spending quality time with the kids. But on we go!
One of my favorite moments over the past few weeks was having girls time with Lucy. It’s not often that it’s just the two of us home alone - and we took full advantage by drinking tea, doing makeovers, and watching a princess movie (without loud complaints from the boys).
Another highlight was one day when we were all sitting around the kitchen table, and Lucy put her sunglasses on Joseph. Not only did he keep them on, but he started posing (completely unprompted)…and it was the silliest and most adorable thing.
I can’t wait to send more updates soon about the illustration project I’m working on AND new art that I’ve managed to create in my free time.
But until then, I just wanted you to know how grateful I am for you being here! Every like, every comment, every email, every review… all of it means SO much!
Blessings,
Kristina
